You will be involved throughout, seeing the plan before anything starts and previewing the shapes and shades
as the design takes form. Nothing goes to final fabrication until you love where it is headed. It is your face.

The process from consultation to reveal
Veneers typically take three visits. The first is design, where we talk goals, examine your teeth, take photos
and impressions, and confirm veneers are the right tool for what you want, because sometimes bonding or
whitening gets you there for less, and we will say so. At the second visit we prepare the teeth by removing a
whisper thin layer of enamel, take final impressions, and place beautiful temporaries.
A few weeks later comes the appointment everyone remembers, the reveal. We try in your finished veneers,
check every detail in natural light, and bond them permanently only when you and Dr. Salinas both love what
you see. Patients tend to spend a long moment with the mirror. We never rush that part.

Living with veneers
Veneers ask very little of you. Brush and floss as always, keep your regular checkups, and be sensible about
using teeth as tools, which nobody should do anyway. Porcelain resists staining better than natural enamel, so
your morning coffee is not the threat it once was. If you grind at night, we will make you a night guard,
because porcelain and grinding are not friends.
Cared for this way, veneers commonly last ten to fifteen years and often beyond. It is worth knowing that
placing veneers involves reshaping enamel, which makes this a lifelong commitment to having them, and part

No, but they do commit them. A thin layer of enamel is reshaped so the veneer sits flush, which means the
tooth will always need a veneer covering it. Done well and maintained, veneered teeth stay healthy for the
long haul.
If your teeth are shaped well and you simply want them brighter, whitening is faster and far less expensive. If
shape, chips, gaps, or deep internal stains are the issue, veneers solve what whitening cannot. We will give
