Meet the Team
Adrian Salinas
Practice Manager
If Dr. Salinas is the heart of 512ooth Family Dentistry, Adrian is the engine room. As our practice manager, he is the reason appointments run on time, insurance questions get real answers, and the office feels calm even on its busiest days. Patients mention him by name in our reviews, and there is a good chance he will be one of the first friendly faces you meet when you walk in.
Adrian earned his business degree from St. Edward’s University here in Austin, which turned out to be the best decision he ever made for a reason that had nothing to do with business. It is where he met his wife, the future Dr. Ana Salinas. Years later, the two of them still make quite a team, building a practice together around the same values that built their family. He believes patients should be treated like guests in his home, and he runs the front of the office exactly that way.
Away from the practice, Adrian and Ana are raising three kids who keep their weekends fully booked. Their son lives and breathes soccer, and their two daughters make sure there is never a dull moment in the house. You will find the whole family on the sidelines at a game, out exploring the hill country, or hunting down great barbecue. And despite his St. Edward’s roots, Adrian bleeds burnt orange. On football Saturdays in the fall, there is only one thing on the TV in the Salinas house. Hook ‘Em.
Alicia
Lead Dental Assistant
Every great dentist has a right hand, and Alicia is ours. As lead dental assistant, she is beside Dr. Salinas for nearly every procedure, anticipating what is needed before it is asked for and keeping every visit running smoothly. Patients mention her by name in our reviews for a simple reason. She has a gift for making people feel at ease, whether that is a nervous first-timer, a wiggly three year old, or someone who has been putting off the dentist for years.
Ask our patients what stands out about their visits and you will hear the same things again and again. Gentle hands. Real conversation. The feeling that the person taking care of you actually cares how you are doing, checking in throughout your appointment and explaining each step before it happens. That is Alicia on an ordinary day. She believes nobody should leave a dental chair feeling like a number, and after a visit with her, nobody does.
The laughter you will probably hear coming from our treatment rooms? There is a good chance she is at the center of it. Alicia sets the tone for the whole clinical team, and it is a big part of why patients tell us this office feels less like a dental practice and more like visiting people who happen to be great at taking care of your teeth.
Ana Salinas, DDS
Dr. Ana Salinas has called Central Texas home since she was a young girl. In the process of building her first private practice, she recently realized that 512ooth Family Dentistry is just minutes away from the first home she lived in with her family here in Austin. This further affirmed that this location is exactly where she was meant to be. She later moved to Dripping Springs with her family and is proud to still call the area home. The hill country holds a special place in her heart.
In 2007 she graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Edward’s University here in Austin, Texas. Then in 2012 she graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School with a Distinction in Dental Education. After living in San Antonio for four years, she then returned to Austin with her husband and newborn son to begin her career in serving the community. Dr. Salinas and her husband, Adrian, now have three children and like to spend their time exploring outdoors, attending their children’s athletic competitions, cheering for their favorite sports teams (Hook ‘Em!), and munching on their favorite BBQ. They enjoy spending their time with friends and family and volunteering in their community. Dr. Salinas and the team of 512ooth Family Dentistry look forward to meeting you and creating lasting relationships while caring for your oral health needs.
